About The Village
The Village Chiropractic & Wellness exists to provide precise, thoughtful, research-informed chiropractic care in a welcoming environment where individuals and families feel genuinely supported in their long-term health.
We believe great care starts with truly listening. That's why we prioritize careful evaluation, individualized treatment, and patient education so patients leave feeling informed, supported, and confident. We also maintain a trusted network of practitioners we know and believe in, for the times when your care calls for something more.
Our goal is to help you restore balance and function while supporting health and wellness through every stage of life.
The Village isn't just where we work. It's an extension of how we live.
The way we care for our patients is the same way we care for our own family because, to us, once you walk through our doors, you're part of our village.
Every decision we've made, from the products we use every day to the atmosphere we've created, has been intentional. We believe the little things matter. Individually, they may seem small, but together they shape how a space feels and the experience people have within it.
Whenever possible, we open the blinds and welcome natural light. We choose EPA-registered, lower-toxicity cleaning products, clean soaps, naturally scented spaces, filtered hydrogen-rich water, and thoughtful touches throughout the office whenever possible. We've also created spaces with families in mind, including a children's play area and a private nursing room for mothers who would like a quiet, comfortable place to feed or care for their little ones. At home, we gravitate toward dye-free foods, pasture-raised meats, fresh produce, and simple ingredients whenever we can. That same philosophy naturally found its way into our practice.
That doesn't mean we believe in perfection.
We're thoughtful, not rigid. We believe health should add joy to life, not take it away. Our goal has never been to create a perfect environment. It's simply to create one where people feel genuinely cared for.
We hope that when you walk through our doors, you notice more than chiropractic care. We hope you feel welcomed, safe, and comfortable. We hope it feels like someone thought about you before you ever arrived.

Every session is intentional. We use hands-on and instrument techniques, neuromuscular re-education, and patient education to support your body's ability to heal and maintain its corrections over time.

Meet the Team
Co-Founder
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Brett Anderson earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Georgia Regents University (now Augusta University) before completing his doctorate in chiropractic at Life University College of Chiropractic in Atlanta. He is working toward his CCAO and CCEP certifications and holds certifications in FMT and IASTM. His expertise includes Atlas Orthogonal, Gonstead, Thompson, Activator Methods, and extraspinal extremity adjustments including TMJs, arms, legs, and feet, with additional focus on kinesiology exercises and physical therapy modalities to customize care for each patient. He has a particular passion for educating expectant mothers on how chiropractic can help prepare the body for labor and delivery.
Originally from Evans, Georgia, Dr. Anderson grew up an athlete — competing in baseball, football, wrestling, track, and lacrosse — and played saxophone in both concert band and marching band. That background gave him a deeply intuitive understanding of how the body moves, compensates, and heals. Before chiropractic, he spent years in the service industry where he discovered a genuine love for people and learned how to make anyone feel at ease.
Outside the clinic you'll find him on a trail, on two wheels, on the water, or behind a smoker watching the Braves. He tells dad jokes without apology and will stop mid-conversation to name who's singing. You'll hear his contagious laugh from down the hall and you're welcome to tell him your best joke.

Dr. Sandra Dunn Anderson earned her undergraduate degree at the University of New Hampshire before completing her doctorate in chiropractic at Life University in Atlanta. She brings a wide range of expertise to The Village including Atlas Orthogonal, Activator Methods, Thompson, Modified Diversified, Cox Flexion Distraction, muscle testing, and extraspinal adjustments including extremity work on cranials, TMJs, arms, legs, and feet. She emphasizes correct posture and incorporates physical therapy modalities to tailor care to each patient's individual needs.
She is working toward her CCAO and CCEP certifications and holds certifications in FMT and IASTM. She has a particular focus on caring for special populations and neurodiverse individuals, and she enjoys complex, whole-person cases that call for a thoughtful, individualized approach.
Originally from New Hampshire, the daughter of a career military man (paratrooper, Green Beret, and service lifer) and a first-generation Korean immigrant, she came south for chiropractic school, met Dr. Anderson, and made the CSRA home. A self-described gear head, whether it's a motorcycle, a four wheeler, or a fast car with a stick shift, if it has an engine she's interested. She has a background in electronics and communications technology and often sees the human body the way an engineer sees a circuit board — every connection matters. She chases spontaneous road trips and the nearest beach, and will be the first to ask if a stranger needs help.

Our youngest team member is responsible for quality control in the toy area, spontaneous smiles, and reminding us why family-centered care matters.
Our Community
The Village isn't just a name, it's a reflection of how we practice. Dr. Brett grew up in this area, and Dr. Sandra found her home here after the two met at in school. Together they returned to the CSRA to build their careers and their family, caring for the people of the Central Savannah River Area. These are the people they see every day, in the places they love, in the community they call home.

We believe your healthcare experience should be straightforward and transparent. Here's what you can expect at The Village Chiropractic & Wellness.
The Village Chiropractic & Wellness is currently operating as a self-pay practice while we complete insurance credentialing for our new office location.
Although our doctors have participated with many major insurance companies in the past, each insurance carrier requires providers to complete a new credentialing process when opening a new practice. Because these approvals are taking longer than anticipated, payment is due at the time of service until our insurance contracts become active.
Our goal is to become in-network with participating insurance plans by the early part of 2027. We'll continue to keep our patients updated as additional insurance contracts become effective.
Our fees are based on the services that are medically necessary and documented during your visit.
We believe in being transparent about our pricing as we navigate the insurance credentialing process. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we establish our new practice and get everything in place.

If you would like to submit your visits to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement, we're happy to provide a superbill upon request.
Because many patients choose not to submit claims, superbills are not generated automatically.
Coverage and reimbursement vary by insurance plan. Any reimbursement is determined by your insurance company and cannot be guaranteed.
Our practice participates with the VA Community Care Network.
If you're a veteran and would like to use your VA Community Care benefits, please contact your VA provider or Community Care representative to obtain the appropriate authorization before your appointment. If you have questions about the referral process, our team is happy to help.
We gladly accept Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) debit cards for eligible healthcare services.
You can use your HSA or FSA card just like any other debit or credit card at the time of your visit.
If you have questions about whether a specific service qualifies, we recommend checking with your HSA or FSA administrator, as eligibility is determined by your individual plan.
